As MCP transitions to a new submission system and gold open access, please note:

• All new submissions and resubmissions (papers with decline decisions that are being resubmitted) will be submitted to the new submission system, Editorial Manager, beginning November 16, 2020. To access EM for new submissions, click here:  https://www.editorialmanager.com/mcpro/
• Revisions will continue to go through the existing manuscript-tracking system, eJournalPress, until February 19, 2021.
• For new submissions, revisions, and resubmissions submitted before November 16, 2020, authors will be billed page charges upon acceptance. For new submissions/resubmissions submitted on or after November 16, 2020, authors will be billed the article publishing charge (APC), and all accepted papers will be published under a CC-BY license. The APCs are priced at $2,000 for ASBMB members or $2,500 for nonmembers, excluding taxes.
• Authors who selected the "Author's Choice" option before November 16, 2020, will be billed for page charges. After this date, APC will apply.
